The Red River Valley's Premiere Sporting Event

Established in 2013 by childhood friends Chad Bergan, Pat Bresnahan, and Trevor Christiansen, the Wiffle Ball World Series has become a hidden gem in the sleepy town of Valley City, ND. Players and fans alike come from all over the country to witness what some believe is the 8th wonder of the world in what is Shane Roberts Field. Each year Bob Bergan’s back yard is transformed into a site most can’t comprehend until they see it with their own eyes.

Chad Bergan

Commissioner

Chad is the Commissioner of the Wiffle Ball World Series. Although at times shrouded with controversy, i.e., Kjellandgate, he has turned the WBWS into what you see today. Chad is also son to the Godfather of Wiffle Ball, Bob.

Pat Bresnahan

President

Pat is the President of the Wiffle Ball World Series. He is currently the only member of the WBWS Committee that has actually won the Shane Roberts Cup. He is also the person least likely to help tear down each year.

Trevor Christiansen

VP of Marketing and Operations

Trevor is the VP of Marketing and Operations of the Wiffle Ball World Series. He is the one who does the bulk of the labor when it comes to the event. He has yet to even sniff a championship game.

The Wiffle Ball World Series is Valley City's own Summer Classic. An event unlike any other.

The kid really comes out in everyone, you just forget about work and you forget about maybe other things in life that are stressful and you just get to come out here and enjoy a perfect day.

The Wiffle Ball World Series is one of the best weekends and events of the year, every single year. The planning, time, creativity, and effort that is put into it to make it a success is truly amazing, and it continues to get better each year.
